As part of our commitment to enhancing our offer to people affected by cancer, Cancer Support Scotland is recruiting our first full time Lead Complementary Therapist based within the Calman Centre, Glasgow. This new role within Cancer Support Scotland will focus on the training and support of volunteer Complementary Therapists within outreach centres, training external Complementary Therapists and providing complementary therapies to those affected by cancer and family members.
Our Wellbeing Services provide a much needed space for those affected by cancer to experience a relief in pain, sleeplessness and anxiety. Over the last year we provided over 6,660 appointments and this figure is set to rise over the next year.
This an exciting time to join our Charity as we fast approach our 40-year anniversary celebrations and move forward with a recently developed strategic vision that puts those affected by cancer at the heart of what we do.
