Sainsbury’s Bearsden Zip Sliding for Cancer Support Scotland

Huge thanks to the 3 thrill seekers from  Sainsbury’s  Bearsden zip sliding their way across the Clyde.

Well done to Alana, Joakim and Johnnie for braving the elements to zip slide across the river. All in the name of  Cancer Support Scotland chosen as their local charity of the year.

On Saturday the 15th of September 3 members of staff launched themselves from the 150ft high Finnieston Crane. They traveled at high speed across the 1,000ft wide River Clyde to raise funds for Cancer Support Scotland.

We’d like to officially thank our charity partner  Sainsbury’s Bearsden. Firstly for putting together a team to Zip Slide across the Clyde and collecting in store. Also thank you to all the shoppers who generously donated too.
