Calling all James Bond Fans! Thanks to Cancer Support Scotland, on Thursday 25th October at the Kilmarnock Odeon, fans will get the chance to see the new James Bond film, ‘Skyfall’ before the official UK launch of the film.
The glitzy event will be hosted by Clyde 1 DJ Suzie McGuire and will include a range of entertainment from a Bond themed band to Aston Martins on display outside the venue. Guests will be provided drink on arrival and will also have the chance of winning exclusive Bond themed raffle prizes. Doors will open at 6.30pm with the film screening at 8pm.
Donna King, assistant manager at the Odeon, Kilmarnock, said: “This will be a great chance for people to not only celebrate the new Bond film but also allows fans to watch the film a day earlier than the official launch date. This will be an exciting night which will also be raising money for a great cause.”
Bond fans who want to make sure they get to the premiere of the blockbuster starring Daniel Craig will have to get their ticket fast as they are on a first come first served basis. All the money raised from the event will go towards Cancer Support Scotland, a Glasgow based charity, that provides emotional and practical support for those affected by cancer.
Cancer Support Scotland Chief Executive Colin Graham said: “This is an exciting event for our charity which will be celebrated in style. Not only will this raise money for Cancer Support Scotland it will be a great chance for people to see the new Bond film before anyone else.”
