Payroll giving

Payroll Giving is an easy, tax-efficient way to support Cancer Support Scotland. Making a regular monthly donation from your salary gives us the security of a regular and predictable flow of income.

A donation determined by yourself is paid directly through your payslip each month and it’s tax free. This means that if you pay the basic rate of tax and you donate £8 from your payroll each month, the Charity receives £10. If you are on the higher tax rate of 40 per cent, a £6 donation would result in the Charity receiving £10.

Your company’s payroll department may already offer a payroll giving scheme, so ask your HR department, payroll department or manager for information.
