A is for an All Day Event - Ask your local pub or sports club if they can arrange a 24-hour sponsored event such as hockey, football or darts!
B is for BBQ - Although the usual Scottish weather can get in the way of a good BBQ, that's no reason not to give it a try! Any excuse for a party!
C is for Car Boot Sale - Get all those unwanted items that you've hidden at the back of your cupboard or in your garage out and sell them at a car boot sale.
D is for Disco - Did we mention that we love a party? Any excuse to get our glad rags on and have a boogie! And you can have prizes for best (or worst) dressed.
E is for an Easter Egg Hunt - Lovely and simple and gets the whole family involved. Why not have a competition for the best decorated egg with your classmates/colleagues/members.
F is for Film Show - Do you know those movies that you have watched at least 20 times? Well not invite all your friends round and get the popcorn in to watch it for the 21st time!
G is for Golf Day - Here at Cancer Support Scotland we have already been actively involved in many an AM AM so are more than happy to help you organise your own one!
H is for Halloween - Who doesn't like to dress up at Halloween? So why not make it extra special and raise some vital funds for a fantastic charity!
I is for Ice Skating - Bit of a novice on the ice? Then why not have a sponsored event to see how long you can stay standing!
J is for Jellybeans - Got a big jar? Got some jellybeans? Then why not ask your workmates to guess how many you have managed to get in the jar!
K is for Karaoke - We may not all be Celine Dion but it's great to believe we are for just one night! Your local pub may let you host their Karaoke for a night with ticket sales coming to you!
L is for Lunchtime Quiz - Who says a quiz can only happen in the pub in the evening? A wee Q&A may be just what you need at lunch to ward off that post-lunch slump. We can provide you with letters of authorisation that will help you gain prizes for the top teams.
M is for Murder Mystery Evening - There are lots of companies that can send you all you need for the perfect murder mystery night - all you need is the people and the costumes! Why not charge people for entering and ask your colleagues to enter a game of Guess Who the Murderer is before the big night!
N is for No Smoking - Thinking of giving up anyway? Then why not boost your willpower with some sponsorship from friends and family with all money raised going to a great cause.
O is for Open Day - Fancy selling some household items but don't want to move them from where they currently sit? Then invite everyone in for an in-house jumble sale!
P is for Photography Competition - Guess the baby always goes down a treat in a big office so why not get everyone to bring theirs in and charge people a £1 to play!
Q is for Question of Sport - Sports fans please raise your hands! This a great quiz to play that will bring out your competitive spirit without having to leave your seat!
R is for Raffle - Always an easy competition to play and we can provide you with information on licences as well as raffle books to get you started!
S is for Swap Shop - When people are pinching their pennies it's sometimes tough to go hit the shops. So why not charge all your friends and family £5 to come round to yours and swap clothes with each other. Great for keeping those purses full!
T is for Treasure Hunt - A great wee challenge that can get everyone involved!
U is for University Challenge - Another quiz that is hard to resist. Why not approach your local universities and see how many teams they can round up?
V is for Variety Show - Round up your talented friends and tread the boards for a night full of laughs!
W is for Wine Tasting - Invite an expert or local wine dealer to bring along a few cases and donate some of the proceeds to a great charity.
X is for X Files Party - Think you know all there is to know? Why not find out with this retro themed party!
Y is for Yorkshire Puddings - Ever thought about how many you can eat in 5 minutes? Well why not find out in this hilarious competition!
Z is for Zzzzzzzzzzz - Fancy a sponsored sleepover with all your friends? Throw in a few catches such as no talking for the whole night / sleeping over in the garage so people know you won't be having an easy night's sleep!
