Amateur Golf Tournament
The Glasgow Rotary Club used its centennial celebrations as an opportunity to raise money for Cancer Support Scotland and held a fundraising golf event. Over 120 members of the club took part in an amateur tournament at Pollok Golf Club and managed to raise £6000 for Cancer Support Scotland!
The Moran Breast Cancer Society Fundraiser
Carol Moran and her husband Michael held a local charity fundraiser night to help raise money for Cancer Support Scotland. They started The Moran Breast Cancer Society when Carol was diagnosed with cancer. As users of Cancer Support Scotland they have been involved in many successful fundraising events over the years. This particular fundraiser was held at the Columba Club in Renfrew and raised a total of £4,500 for Cancer Support Scotland!
Supper Night
One of our therapists May Tierney held her own fundraiser at home and invited friends and family round for a Supper Night. For £10 they were all treated to a three-course meal, washed down with wine, and to complete the night they all enjoyed a dance-off on the Wii. May managed to raise £100 for us!
