At today’s Scottish Government COVID-19 briefing the First Minister announced some restrictions being put on the Aberdeen area.
At Cancer Support Scotland we understand this may cause increase anxieties within the Aberdeen area due to this situation. At this stage the advice from the Scottish Government to those in the shielding cohort in the local area remains the same. Therefore please: stay extra vigilant; keep yourself safe; wear a face covering, maintain 2 metre distance and wash hands frequently.
It’s really important to note that the Scottish Government are not advising a re-introduction or restart to shielding at this stage.
We completely understand this will cause increased frustrations, worries and anxieties and we want you to know that we are here for you.
