Cancer Support Scotland relies on the generosity of amazing people like you to continue our vital wellbeing services. For more than 40 years, we have provided comfort, support and the much-needed tools for people to not only look after their mental health, but also live well with cancer during some of the most challenging times of their life. We do this by keeping our services free to use for anyone affected by cancer, including to patients, carers and loved ones of those with cancer. We are acutely aware of how life-changing a cancer diagnosis is as it can have serious ripple effects on those we hold dear.

Cancer Support Scotland is here for anyone affected by cancer – but we cannot do it without your help.

We know that those who visit us for the first time can be nervous and unsure of what to expect. Whether it be for a first wellbeing appointment or simply to enquire about our services, taking that first – but incredibly brave – step through our doors can be daunting. These feelings quickly drain away, however, as you are greeted by the calming smell of lavender and the sound of relaxing music surrounds you.

At the Calman Centre, we always guarantee a warm & friendly welcome. Whilst you wait, everyone visiting our centre is invited to take a seat and enjoy the space with a hot drink and cake before they have a chat with one of our wellbeing volunteers. These small details can make a big difference, but we need your help.
