We have a fun and varied calendar of events and challenges planned throughout the year for you and your colleagues to take part in. But we also love it when companies want to fundraise at work by organising their own unique events. If you would like to do this, our team are on hand to support you and promote your event all the way. Get some inspiration with these great ideas;
RBS Race Night
The team at RBS organised a fantastic race night at their St. Vincent Street office. All the guests were cheering on their horses and bidding big on the races in aid of Cancer Support Scotland, while enjoying the hospitality that RBS has generously put on. Their guests had a great time and the night raised over £3,000 to help us support those affected by cancer.
£1 on the Bill
Are you or someone you know a restaurant owner? A great and easy way to raise vital funds for Cancer Support Scotland is to promote a “£1 on the bill” initiative where you ask customers if they would be billing to add just £1 to their total which will then be directly donated to us! If your restaurant served 100 customers per week and raised £100, in just 6 months you would have raised £2400 which could fund 6 counselling sessions for 8 people affected by cancer in Scotland, amazing!
Gin or Whisky Tasting Evening
Why not get in touch with a local Gin or Whisky company and organise a tasting evening at the office? Simply add a few pounds to the cost per person and every ticket bought will support our vital wellbeing services for people affected by cancer. As a bonus. you could also run a raffle to raise additional funds on the night!
Win a Day Off Work!
Who doesn’t love some time off to relax? Holding a raffle to win some additional annual leave is always popular and a great way to raise money too. Why not ask for £5-10 per raffle ticket to win a half day, full day or even have a Grand prize of a full week of leave!
Cancer Support Scotland Pop Up Shop
Did you know we have an amazing Cancer Support Scotland Shop? We have a wide range of beautiful Aromatherapy products, candles & Diffusers, skincare goodies which make great gifts or treats for yourself! One of our wonderful volunteers can visit your office with our products to sell to staff on a chosen day and the best thing? All profits go towards funding our wellbeing services!
