About us

We are a Scottish Charity and are here to support people affected by cancer. The charity has its main centre at Gartnavel Hospital, Glasgow and has a number of support groups covering Scotland. 

Cancer Support Scotland, formally known as Tak Tent, offers one to one talking therapy (counselling) and complementary therapies to people affected by cancer including family and friends, before, during and after treatment.

We also bring people together in community support groups to discuss their feelings and anxieties when faced with a cancer diagnosis.  We offer our services free of charge and rely on donations and legacies from the public to allow us to continue to support the people who need us most.
