Every year 2,000 counselling appointments are funded by the incredible people who remember us in their Will. By leaving a legacy you can ensure we’re here to provide vital support for future generations.

Leaving a gift in your Will

Once you have provided for your loved ones, you may want to consider leaving a gift to a cause that is important to you. By having an up-to-date Will, you can ensure your wishes are carried out. This also helps your loved ones, meaning they don’t have to make difficult decisions on your behalf.

Types of gifts

There are many ways to remember us in your Will, here’s a few types of gifts you can leave:

  • Residuary gift: This is a percentage of your estate once other gifts, debts and expenses have been settled. This is the simplest type of gift, and it holds its value.
  • Pecuniary gift: This is a fixed sum of money chosen by you.
  • Specific gift: This includes, but is not limited to, items such as stocks, property, art and jewellery.
