Our AGM and Speakers morning takes place on Monday 19th September in our centre at 75 Shelley Road, Gartnavel Campus, Glasgow. This event is free to attend and open to everyone. It is a fantastic way to find out how the charity is performing and our future plans.
Following the AGM we have three guest speakers, Martin Docherty-Hughes MP, who will open our speakers morning, talking about the importance of volunteering and why it is important to society.
Following Martin will be Dr. Brendan McCann, an oncologist at the Beatson, who will be talking about his experience of cancer and as an expert in the field of cancer.
Finally a Glasgow Business Leader will give an insight into corporate giving and the importance of philanthropic giving.
If you would like to come along, please download the AGM booklet and return the enclosed booking form to [email protected].
Once you have returned your booking form we will send you all the relevant papers including the Annual Accounts. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment as they will be available on a “first come first served” basis.
The conference theme is “Bridging the Fundraising Gap” and you will get an opportunity to put questions to all our speakers.
The doors will open at 10.00am with the AGM starting a 10.30am. A buffet lunch will be provided from 1pm.
If you wish to become a member of Cancer Support Scotland, please complete and return the membership form at the back of the AGM booklet.
