Launching New Stress Management Drop in Evenings

Cancer Support Scotland is launching Stress Management Drop-In evenings.

We’re aware everyone’s experience of coping with cancer is different. Everyone reacts in their own way and are feeling stressed and anxious at different times. You can’t predict when you’ll be needing support to deal with stress. That’s why we’re here for you.

We asked our services users how can we continue to help them with their stress after they complete our Stress Management Workshops. Their response was to know they still had place to visit and someone to talk to.

Having listened we’re pleased to announce we’re launching our new service: the Stress Management Drop-in Evenings starting on the last Thursday of the month at 6pm on 30th of August.

Who can attend?

The drop-in evenings are open to everyone who previously attended our Stress Management Workshops.

What to expect?

Simply drop in to have a chat, try something new. It will be a time to relax and talk about what you personally would like to gain from spending your time in the class.

You’ll spend time with our complementary therapist to discuss ways to manage stress in your day to day life. It could be anything from new stress management techniques to stress relief activities including mindfulness to laughter yoga.

When are the drop-in evenings?

We are holding stress management drop-in evenings on the last Thursday of every month from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Where are the workshops?

In our wonderful and tranquil Calman Centre on the Gartnavel Campus, Glasgow, G12 0ZE

Please do come along as there will be something different to discover every month.
